Out to extend successful home form against Betis

The Andalusians haven't scored on their last three visits to Mestalla

Whilst Valencia CF have fond memories of playing at the Benito Villamarín, having won the Copa del Rey there last year, there is no place like home.

This weekend they welcome Real Betis to Mestalla, where they will attempt to return to winning ways, keep up an unbeaten home record in LaLiga, and extend a run of games without conceding against the Andalusian team.
Betis are the only team currently in the Spanish top flight without a goal at Mestalla on their last three visits.

Last season, Valencia CF achieved a shutout in the Copa del Rey semifinal second leg against Betis, in a game that ended 0-0. There was also a goalless stalemate on Matchday 4 of the 2019/20 season, and a 2-0 victory for VCF in 2018/19.

The team have converted Mestalla into a fortress, and remain one of only three teams yet to taste defeat on home soil in LaLiga this term. Only Atletico Madrid have conceded fewer goals at their own ground in the last five league games. On Saturday, they attempt to recover from consecutive losses on the road with a happy homecoming.
